Its maximum altitude is 64 m above sea level, descending smoothly without any notable features.","galeria-poblacion":[70322],"descripcion_2":"<h4>Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nA typically Valencian municipality, whose gastronomy is rich in variety and quality. A wide range of rice dishes, prepared with the best local agricultural and livestock produce. Furthermore, mention may be made of the local sweets \u201ccoca cristina\u201d, sweet potato cakes, \u201ccoca de Santiago\u201d. Other dishes include \u201ccalderes\u201d and \u201carr\u00f2s amb fessols i naps\u201d (rice with beans and turnip).\r\n<h4>Places of interest:<\/h4>\r\n\u2013<strong> Parish church of the Assumption of Our Lady<\/strong> (<em>Esgl\u00e9sia parroquial de l\u2019Assumpci\u00f3 de la Mare de D\u00e9u<\/em>): It dates from 1730 and was built under the direction of Juan Baptista Mingues. The building has three naves and a transept, with a bell tower of the same age as the church. It contains several baroque altarpieces, as well as neoclassical effigies and paintings. Special mention may be made of the effigy of Our Lady of Patronage, the patron saint of Foios.\r\n\r\n\u2013 <strong>Hermitage of the Christ of Blood<\/strong> (<em>Ermita del Crist de la Sang<\/em>): It is located about a kilometre from the centre, on the road to Vinalesa. It is a neoclassical building with rectangular layout, rebuilt in 1942.
