Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nThe most typical dishes include \u201cl\u2019arros al forn\u201d (baked rice), \u201cl\u2019arros amb fesols i naps\u201d (rice with beans and turnip), paella and \u201cl\u2019espardeny\u00e0\u201d.\r\n\r\nTypical sweets and pastries: walnut cakes nut and Easter cakes.\r\n

Places of interest:<\/h4>\r\nIn the municipality of Barxeta there are several routes that can be explored on foot or by bicycle, and along which the visitor can admire the diversity of Mediterranean flora and fauna, although the most abundant species is the white pine. The routes are:\r\n\r\nRoute 1:<\/strong> Simat de la Valldigna \u2013 Quatretonda (Pla de Corrals) \u2013 Barxeta \u2013 Genov\u00e9s. The route is host to an abundance of Mediterranean vegetation.\r\n\r\nRoute 2:<\/strong> Barxeta (Cam\u00ed dels Sensals) \u2013 Mont Requena \u2013 Quatretonda \u2013 Benig\u00e0nim. Mont Requena is undoubtedly one of the most impressive landscapes to be found within the Valencia Region. It is notable for the density of its vegetation. There is also a well that supplies water to the village, known as \u201cRamonet l\u2019Esquilaor\u201d and a recreation area with a fountain.\r\n\r\nRoute 3<\/strong>: Ctra. Barxeta to Rafelguaraf \u2013 Pla de Llauris \u2013 El Judia \u2013 X\u00e0tiva to Simat de la Valldigna road. The route is notable for an abundance of Mediterranean fruit plantations. Part of the land is classified as a protected landscape.\r\n

Festivities:<\/h4>\r\nThe main festivities are held during the last week of July, with a mixture of religious and recreational acts. It is organized by the young people of the village.
