Gastronomy:<\/h4>\r\nThe local cuisine includes typical sweets such as \u201cmones\u201d, \u201cpastissos i rossegons\u201d, as well other excellent products such as sausages, \u201cfigatells\u201d (typical of the administrative region) and rosemary honey. These products can be obtained in the village\u2019s shops at the weekend.\r\n

Places of Interest:<\/h4>\r\nThe Parish Church of Saint Michael the Archangel (17th\/19th centuries), the \u201cRiu-Rau\u201d (open-sided building formerly used for drying fruit), the Calvary (18th\/19th centuries), Pla\u00e7a de la Constituci\u00f3 (original centre of the village) and \u201cLa Nevera\u201d (18th century, used for storage of ice for its use in summer), as well as numerous natural sites of interest, including \u201cla Aldaia\u201d massif and the houses of the hamlet of La Drova. The nearby springs, such as \u201cel Cirer\u201d, \u201cel Puig Mola\u201d, \u201cMongetes\u201d, \u201cl\u2019Om\u201d and \u201cGamellons\u201d, and the panoramic views of the landscape from \u201cLa Visteta\u201d viewpoint make up the tourist attractions offered by Barx, which is located in the sub-administrative region of La Valldigna (La Safor). Numerous short trails cross the municipality of Barx.\r\n

Festivities:<\/h4>\r\nThe village\u2019s main festivities are held during the third week of August in honour of the Divine Shepherdess and Saint Michael.
