El 1564 va comen\u00e7ar l\u0092edificaci\u00f3 d\u0092aquest temple parroquial d\u0092estil g\u00f2tic tard\u00e0 que, despr\u00e9s de diverses etapes de construcci\u00f3, va finalitzar en la segona meitat del segle XVIII, d\u0092estil barroc.\nA banda del pas del temps, el temple de Sant Bertomeu ha patit dos esdeveniments hist\u00f2rics que en van afectar les pedres i els murs.
